Before you begin: you need the Ignite TiVi Downloader code (Android only), which is 3976108, and your username and password from your welcome email.

Android phone and tablet

1. Install DownloaderOpen the Google Play Store, search for Downloader by AFTVnews and tap Install, then Open.

   

2. Allow file accessWhen Downloader asks for access to photos, media and files, tap Allow. This lets it save the app file.
3. Enter your codeTap the Home tab, type 3976108 into the URL box and tap Go. Wait for the download to finish.

   

4. Allow Downloader to install appsWhen the security message appears, tap Settings and switch on Allow from this source for Downloader. Menu names vary between phone brands, and it is usually under Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps. Go back to Downloader.

   

5. Install the appTap Install when asked. If a Blocked by Play Protect message appears, tap More details, then Install anyway. If no install message appears, open the Files tab in Downloader and tap the downloaded file.

   

6. Finish and clean upTap Done, go back to Downloader and delete the downloaded file to free up space. Then open Ignite TiVi from your app drawer.

Common problems

• Install is blocked: make sure Downloader is allowed under Install unknown apps, then try the install again.
• Blocked by Play Protect: tap More details, then Install anyway.
• Downloader says the code is invalid: re-type the number with no spaces, or copy it exactly from your account page.
• Cast icon is missing: connect your phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi network and make sure the TV or box is switched on.
• Login rejected: re-enter the username and password from your welcome email and check for extra spaces.
